One-stage sinus floor augmentation

Dr. Frosecchi performs implant placement and simultaneous sinus floor augmentation using the lateral approach.

After preparation of the lateral bone window, implant placement and augmentation of the sinus floor with cerabone® granules is performed. The augmented site is covered using Jason® membrane and a final CT scan is taken to confirm the correct positioning of the implant.

Jason® membrane is a particularly thin, native collagen membrane obtained from porcine pericardium. Its multidirectional strength and tear resistance permit well securing of the cerabone® particles at the augmented site providing optimal regenerative conditions.
